Product ("we", "us") provides a team task tracker. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the service, how we use it, and what choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information. Your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password (or, if you use a magic link, no password at all).
- Workspace content. The tasks, custom fields, comments, and audit events you and your teammates create in the workspaces you own or belong to. This is your data; you can export or delete it at any time.
- Usage telemetry. Anonymous pageviews and high-level feature usage (PostHog), so we know which parts of the product to invest in. We do not sell or share this data.
- Billing information. If you upgrade to a paid plan, our payments provider (Stripe) collects and stores your payment details. We never see or store the card number ourselves.
How we use it
- To operate the product — show you your data, route emails, run scheduled jobs.
- To improve the product — understand which features are used, find slow paths, fix bugs.
- To bill you, if you're on a paid plan, and to send service-related email (verification, password reset, security notices).
- To respond when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your workspace content to train machine-learning models.
Where data is stored
Workspace content is stored in a managed Postgres database (currently Neon) and on Cloudflare's edge object storage (R2) for audit logs and exports. Our application code runs on Cloudflare Workers. Specific regions and providers may change as the service scales; this page will be updated when they do.
Your choices
- Export your data at any time from the workspace settings page.
- Delete your account and we'll remove personal data within 30 days, except where law requires retention.
- Opt out of product-analytics telemetry from your profile settings.
- Email hello@product-starter.xyz for any data subject request (access, correction, deletion, portability).
Children
Product is not intended for use by people under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
When we update this policy in a way that affects you, we'll email you and update the effective date at the top of this page.
